We are excited to announce that Curtis Bennett is now serving as CEO of Mentors International. Curtis comes from humble circumstances and knows the power and benefit of a true mentor.

Throughout his career, Curtis has had vast experience in many avenues of for-profit business to non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and international business. He has traveled extensively throughout the world and has personally witnessed the extreme poverty facing many families. Recently, Curtis and his wife Sheri were released after serving for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints presiding over the Mexico Missionary Training Center, located in Mexico City from January 2017 – January 2019.

When Curtis was asked why he wanted to serve with Mentors International as their new CEO, he replied, “I am very appreciative to the mentors and examples who have helped shape my life. I strongly feel like now is the time in my life where it is my turn to pay it forward. I am grateful to serve as the new CEO of Mentors International and help empower families to grow in greater self-reliance in all aspects of their lives.”

Curtis is looking forward to getting out in the field personally meeting, teaching, and mentoring the mothers and families working with Mentors International. He is very familiar with Mentors International and is eager to help increase our impact for generations to come.

Aside from helping to share and grow the mission of Mentors International, Curtis can be found spending his time with his beautiful wife, his five children, and their 12 grandkids. He also enjoys exploring the great outdoors on his mountain bike.

Reach out to Curtis anytime at curtis@mentorsinternational.org. He is very excited to meet the Mentors International Community.

The Mentors International team and board of directors would like to congratulate our previous CEO, Ron Dunford on his appointment as the new President and CEO of Schreiber Foods. Ron will still be actively serving on the board of directors for Mentors International. He looks forward to supporting Mentors International in this new capacity and helping empower the poor throughout the world.
