One day he was discussing his situation with a friend who told him about Mentors International and he got excited about the opportunity to learn but didn’t have an easy way to get to the classes.

Determined to find a way, he borrowed a bicycle and rode 3 miles each way to get to and from the Mentors International training center.

He studied and practiced graphic design and video editing because he knew there would be good job opportunities if he could gain these skills.

When he graduated from Mentors International, Theara was able to reach one of his first goals by getting a job at a local production company as a video editor with a salary of $200 a month!
