Juana and her family grow and sell cardamon in the small community of Senahu, Guatemala. She knows how difficult it is to be a farmer. It is what her family has always done, yet today her enterprise is very different from her parents. Juana has received mentoring and business training from Mentors International. She keeps a notebook to track her household expenses and a separate one to monitor her business expenses.
She does more research before selling her cardamon to ensure she makes the most profit. She is also expanding her enterprise and growing yucca.
