I am pleased to share with you some changes made within the leadership of Mentors International.

United as a Board, we have appointed Chris Dunn new CEO, and he has humbly accepted. (pictured above on the left) Having served as our Vice President of Operations he has personally worked with each of our in-country directors. Chris brings vast knowledge and understanding of our global programs and operations as well as a powerful vision for the future. He has personally witnessed great poverty throughout the world, and he has mentored and motivated countless individuals towards greater self-reliance. He is committed to our vision of helping to create a world where everyone has the choice to be free from extreme poverty. Chris is looking forward to mentoring and leading our international teams to even greater accomplishments.

Additionally, our Board of Directors has appointed Curtis Beesley as the new President, and he has graciously accepted. (pictured above on the right) He previously served as our Vice President of Development. Curtis Beesley loves people – both donors and our clients and he is driven to help both to reap the blessings of consecrated service and mentorship.

Unanimous as a Board of Directors we have complete confidence in not only Chris Dunn and Curtis Beesley, but we have great faith in all of our teams throughout the world. Under this new leadership team, we look forward to working with you in our mission to lift individuals and families from poverty to self-reliance through personalized mentoring, training, and financial solutions.

Curtis Bennett will be stepping down as the CEO of Mentors International and will become a member of our board of directors. While he is stepping down as the CEO, he is not stepping away. He is fully vested in seeing our organization “strengthen our roots” to provide greater outcomes and impact.

David Christensen, who has dedicated himself to the success of the organization for many years and has recently been serving as President, will be assuming a new role as Senior Advisor where he will continue to provide valuable support to the executive leadership team.
