3 simple ways you can get involved right now, using just your cell phone.

March 8th is International Women’s Day!

International Women’s Day is a momentous occasion that reminds us of the progress that women have made towards equality, as well as the challenges that still lie ahead. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women, and to recognize the important role they play in shaping our world.

This year’s theme, “#EmbraceEquity,” is a call to action for all of us to work towards a more equitable world. At Mentors International, we are dedicated to helping women achieve sustainable self-reliance. Through our poverty-ending programs, we provide women and families with the tools and support they need to thrive.

Our vocational and business courses, as well as personal development and leadership training programs, are inclusive and of the highest quality. And we are proud to say that 70% of our vocational graduates are women. We also provide micro-loans to entrepreneurs, with 90% of those loans going to women. These loans have helped women to grow their businesses, improve their incomes, and achieve financial independence.

For more than three decades, Mentors International has been empowering women on their journey towards self-reliance. Our programs provide a way for women to work with dignity and break the cycle of poverty. And the incredible women we serve often go on to become community leaders, using their unique perspective, experiences, and skills to lift up those around them.

This International Women’s Day, we encourage you to honor the amazing women in your life. And if you want to make a difference, here are three simple ways you can get involved right now, using just your cell phone:
