To make ends meet, Maria sells a traditional beverage known as tascalate. Through the generous support of the Giving Machine program, Maria received corn, coca, and achiote, enabling her to produce a substantial quantity of tascalate. Seizing the opportunity, she expanded her business by becoming a distributor for local stores. Reinvesting her profits into the business, Maria diversified her product range and began offering new items.
