At Mentors International we see the daily crippling struggles of these magnificent women who are trying to survive and give the best they can for their children. They are not looking for wealth; they simply want to provide basic necessities. These women inspire us and motivate us to work harder, smarter, and more effectively not only for them, but for the generations they will influence.
My mother was a single parent, and although we struggled, and occasionally went hungry, there were always good, caring people around us who helped us find a way out. Good people who were the answers to my mother’s prayers, and seemingly came at the most crucial moments. You can help us do the same.
