ABOUT PLANNED GIVING

Planned gifts, such as bequests or charitable trusts, can be an advantageous way to provide for a future gift to charity. You can take care of yourself and take care of millions of Mentors International’s entrepreneurs throughout the world.

WHAT IS “PLANNED GIVING?”

Planned giving involves providing for a future gift to charities through your financial and estate plans. Mentors International welcomes gifts made through different planned giving arrangements. These arrangements can:

  • Provide for you or your loved ones
  • Entitle you to charitable income and/or gift or estate tax deductions
  • Enable you to leave a legacy to enrich lives of those across the world.

MORE ABOUT LEGACY OF HOPE

Since 1990, Mentors International has been empowering families living in developing countries trapped in the cycle of generational poverty, achieve greater self-reliance through our proven programs of business and personal development training, mentoring, and micro-loans.

Over 4.5 million individuals have been impacted. Each year over 28,000 families are growing their businesses and in turn are now able to enjoy better housing, adequate nutrition, schooling for their children, and a new found self-respect.

This has all been made possible as a result of private contributions from our generous donors.

To assure that the important benefits provided by Mentors International can be available in future years and to provide important tax and estate plan benefits to donors, Mentors International has established the Legacy of Hope. The inaugural grant enabling this important new program has been generously provided by Gaye and Vic Lee of St. George, Utah.

For those seeking means of preserving wealth for their families while making a meaningful and lasting difference in the world, Mentors International’s Legacy of Hope provides important opportunities.
