The Success of Kedar Rayamajhi from Nepal

Kedar Rayamajhi has been a farmer his whole life. It is in his DNA. He father was a farmer, his grandfather was a farmer, his great grandfather was a farmer and so on.

Today, he works side-by-side with his son. He is hoping to leave a great legacy for the next generation.

Kedar practices terraced farming. Over the generations his family has cut terraces into the hilly terrain of Makwanpur to help create more surface area available for planting.

Kedar has invested his micro-loan into purchasing additional seeds and fertilizer. Right now he is working on learning and putting into practice the paperwork responsibilities of being an entrepreneur. He hope that by tracking his spending he will know what his money is being spent on and hopefully find ways to save more for the future.
