Leakena didn’t know how to study or be a good student before working with the teachers from Mentors International.

Leakena is the youngest of three daughters. Her parents are farmers that grow rice. Leakena moved to Phnom Penh to further her education. A friend told her about Mentors International. So she enrolled and completed our Sales and Customer Service course.

Leakena felt that the courses from Mentors International not only helped improve her employable skills but also helped her personally. She didn’t know how to study or be a good student before working with the teachers from Mentors International. In addition, the Keystone personal development course helped her set life goals. Goals are something she had never thought about before.

While she was attending her Sales and Customer Service course, she was able to get an internship at the “Teacher Qualifications Development Program”. After she graduated, she became a full-time staff member.

Leakena said, “I wouldn’t have gotten this job if I didn’t apply all the knowledge, I learned from my class at Mentors International. This course really helped me to perform very good at work.” In the future, she would like to one day own a bookstore. She expressed her great gratitude to Mentors International and the teachers who helped provide such an excellent experience for her and other students in her class.
