The Success of Parbatti Rayamajhi from Nepal
Parbatti Rayamajhi is a loving mother and wife. She helps farm the land alongside her husband and son. They struggle to provide even the basic necessities for their family. Their home was damaged in the 2015 earthquake and they still have been unable to afford to invest in repairing the cracks. (See image below)
She is becoming inspired to dream big and expand her family’s farming enterprise after attending the business classes taught by Mentors Nepal. She is using her loan to purchase fertilizers to help ensure the success of her crops.
Prateek Sharma, Director of Mentors Nepal said, “These training classes are so important in helping change the mentality of the people here in Makwanpur. They are learning how to grow and develop successful enterprises.”
