The Success of Safawa from Ghana

Safawa recently shared with us, “The training I received from Mentors Ghana was very important for me. I was able to learn how to keep better records. I now know if I am making a fair profit from the drinks that I sell. May God richly bless you and Mentors Ghana. By the grace of God, my family, and my grandchildren have something to eat.”

Safawa is a provisions shop owner. She has been working with Mentors Ghana for a little over a year. She is working on paying back her second loan. With the business training and mentoring she has expanded her provisions shop to not only become a better retail provider but now she has become a distributor and a wholesale drink provider for her area.

She has also expanded her provisions shop and she sells fresh bread daily. With all of these enterprises running out of one shop, Safawa needed help. She has hired on two additional employees. With her second loan, she invested it in a refrigerator so that she could sell cold drinks to her customers. She is doing very well with her business enterprises.
