Shout out to the Utah State University SEED Interns. Last month they volunteered on a Saturday to help Mentors Philippines’ client Nanay Valencia paint her school so that it would be ready for the upcoming school year.

Nanay Valencia has a private preschool in her area and provides education for the children in her neighborhood who can’t afford to travel to schools located farther away. Since the area in which she lives in quite poor sometimes the students can only afford to pay for school daily as they go, but she is so caring she won’t turn anyone away from having the chance to learn and gain a greater education. Nanay is another great example of a Mentors International entrepreneur paying it forward and helping another.

Thanks to the USU SEED interns for their service.
