The local IEI 223 Los Plomitos primary school in Trujillo Peru needed help getting their facilities and classrooms cleaned and ready for a new school year. This school lacked the funds to pay professionals to help get their school ready for another school year.

Several students from our nearby Learning and Mentoring Center were able to come to serve and thoroughly clean chairs, classrooms, and common areas for these students. Our students were able to full-fill some of their 40-hour service requirements, and the local primary school was very grateful for our support.

The students attending our training classes at our Learning and Mentoring Center know how important education is. They are dedicated to finished their 15-week courses enabling them to apply and qualify for better-paying jobs in their communities.

These students were happy to serve so these younger kids would have a more enjoyable and clean learning environment.
